Although it has not been a very smooth journey, it’s been
good so far. And NO, I did not take any road trips nor am I on a pilgrimage but
that statement was made In reference to the issue at hand. There has been very interesting developments
to the issue of food prices in restaurants on the university of Memphis campus
as it is no longer a mere research argument paper for my English 1020 class but
now also a progressing movement actually aimed at effecting a change in this
situation.
The fact that this whole episode is still an unwinding tale
has assisted in how it develops as an argument, this has also helped in
reporting and presenting stage by stage analysis of the situation as well as
providing ready participants in each survey conducted to report the effects of
these prices as well as food quality on the everyday activities of the
students.
The diversity of opinions and multiple sides of the story as
well as a limited base of reference seem to present a little difficulty;
however, this is overcome by the emanation of a new side to the story, a new
interpretation of known data or statistic as well as a new occurrence in this
situation on a daily basis. Therefore there is always something to report
about, something to make a concrete argument on, as well as something to add to
this ongoing cause, as such I can safely conclude that it’s been indeed a good
journey so far. Although, the end will always justify the means….. Over and
Out!!!
This seems like something that would interest not only the class but also the entire student body. What is the argument exactly? I can understand how the whole process is a rough journey. Finding an opposing side has been my worse nightmare. No writing process is an easy, especially if it has to be nearly perfect. Limitations of the research is a bit of a setback. I have so many sides that are basically saying the same thing over and over. I'm afraid my first 3 pages will be like a scratched record. Tell me how you are getting past this and how I probably could too. Thanks.
